Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has started plans for new life at Old Trafford as he has already started making a wishlist of likely players to join him if eventually he resumes as new manager of the Red Devils.

Mourinho is looking up to having Argentine and Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain, Real Madrid and Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez as well as Juventus forward Alvaro Morata, according to Don Balon.

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is currently under pressure, and it is likely the Portuguese will succeed him at Old Trafford at end of season.

United are currently in the sixth position on the premier league table but are tied on 50 points with West Ham who are fifth. Both teams have eight more matches to play to end season, but West Ham have an edge on goal difference.
