The Super Eagles of Nigeria were forced to a 1-1 draw by the Pharaohs of Egypt, keeping the interim manager coach Samson Siasia to maintain his record of not losing to any African national side.
Samson Siasia is the only Nigerian coach who have not lost to any senior national team, a record which he kept since he first had a stint with the Super Eagles before his sack in 2013.
Siasia who is now the interim manager of the Super Eagles will lead the team to Alexandria in Egypt for a second leg match, where he is expected to maintain his record and also win the match.
A win for the Super Eagles in Alexandria will put them on top of the group with eight points, while they await their last two group matches which will be against Tanzania and Chad.
