Roma defeated Napoli 1-0 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, to move closer to Napoli who are currently second on the Serie A table, courtesy of Radja Nainggolan’s 88′ minutes strike.

The visitors possessed the ball more and also created scoring chances but were unable to convert their chances to goal. They however paid dearly for being wasteful. Higuain’s chance in the 72′ minutes could have put the visitors on the lead, but it was another wasted effort as they failed to score.

Both teams are not in anyway title contenders, as Juventus have already won the league. But finishing second becomes a necessity as this could affect them in seeding at the uefa champions league.
