Pope Francis who is the 266th Pope and leader of the Catholic Church made out time in 2013, to support his Argentine outfit San Lorenzo, a football club which the Pontiff considers as part of his “cultural leader”. He happily held tightly on to the club jersey in 2013 after the club San Lorenzo, won her first league for the first time in six years, and the title was described as divine intervention.

The situation for Atletico Madrid would really be painful if Atletico lose again to Madrid, after losing to Madrid in 2014. Atletico eliminated five-time champion league winners Barcelona and Bayern Munich en route the final, at the quarterfinal and semifinal stage respectively. The Argentine may really need to seek divine intervention to win the title after suffering heart break two years ago.

Atletico Madrid took the lead in the final of the 2014 champions league and with just a few seconds to end of match, Sergio Ramos spoilt the Argentine Manager celebration, netting in a late goal which sent the match into extra-time after full time. Madrid however won in extra time by 4-1.
