Copa del Rey Final: Barcelona And Sevilla Fight For Their Second Title Of The Season

Barcelona and Sevilla will clash today in the final of the Copa del Rey as they battle to win a second title for the season. Both teams have already qualified after for the uefa champions league following Barcelona’s finishing first in the Spanish La Liga, while Sevilla qualified after winning the Europa Cup.

There last seven meetings was a match that have produced a minimum of three goals and both teams have scored each other in all of their meetings. The two teams have a record of producing the highest number of goals in the uefa super cup in 2015, when there match ended in 5-4,  producing a total of nine goals.

Barcelona have won five times in their last seven meetings, while Sevilla have won once with a draw standing in between the two teams. Barcelona are favourites to win tonight.

While Barcelona will be striving to win an additional title tonight, Sevilla will be striving to win a title that will give them an opportunity to play in the Spanish Super Cup when season begins. If Sevilla lose tonight, that opportunity is lost.
