The All-time highest goal scorer of the UEFA champions league Cristiano Ronaldo, has been certified fit to play in the second-leg match of the semifinal of the champions league, scheduled to hold today at Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
Ronaldo who is the all-time leading scorer with a total of 93 goals in the champions league, missed the goalless first-leg encounter due to a hamstring strain.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, has confirmed that the Madrid forward who trained with the team yesterday, is 100% fit and will be available when they host Manchester City today.
It will be recalled that Madrid missed the absence of the forward in the first-leg, as they created several goal-scoring chances but failed to convert them to goals.
Since neither side conceded any goal in the first-leg, outright winning is what is required in the game tonight, and Ronaldo’s presence will be key to help his side progress to the final as well as increase his goal tally in the champions league.
