The Great Giles Scott won his fourth World Championship title in the Finn class to become the second most successful sailor in the competition’s history, behind fellow Briton Ben Ainslie.

Scott, 28, finished 38th in the opening race but won three of the following six to take gold for the fourth time in six years.
