Spanish Clubs Have Dominated Europe Most Since 2006 till date, Winning More Than 60% Of All European Titles. -SportsIntelligence

There are 53 nations in UEFA, and only eight nations have won any European title from 2006 to 2016. Clubs from Spain have dominated Europe most since 2006, winning more than half of all the trophies available within the period in assessment and setting records within this period that are yet to be surpassed by any other nation in European tournaments. 

In the uefa champions league , Spain have won five of the ten titles contested within the said period with Barcelona winning four while Madrid one. Spain still have another date of a one-nation final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid which comes up on the 28th of May 2016. England, Germany and Italy have won two, one and one each within the period.

Concerning the second most prestigious title in Europe which is the Europa Cup, Spain have won seven out of the eleven titles contested within the said period with Sevilla and Atletico Madrid winning five and two respectively, while Russia,Ukraine, Portugal and England have won one title each through Zenit (2008), Shakhtar Donetz (2009),Porto (2011), and Chelsea (2013).

The dominance of Spain in Europe is also not left out in the uefa Super Cup, where they have won a total of eight cups out of the eleven competed for since 2006, while Russia, Germany and Italy have won one each through Zenit (2008), Milan (2007) and Bayern Munich (2013).
