For the first time in the history of the tournament, there will be a second official match ball after the group stage of the on going Euro football tournament, as adidas launched a new design for the UEFA EURO 2016 knockout rounds.
The new design will replace the group stage ball for the round of 16, and will be used all the way to the final at the Stade de France on 10 July.
This is the first time in the competition’s history that there has been a different ball for the knockout rounds.
