Former England star Michael Owen has charged the current England’s squad to play without fear at Euro 2016. England will begin their campaign against Russia on 11 June, before facing Wales and Slovakia.
Owen told the team while speaking on BBC that, “Forget who’s going to cost us,” The English legend represented England at five major tournaments during his hey days.
The former Real Madrid legend believes that winning and qualifying from the group is key, before thinking of the next stage. “There’s almost a fear of being ‘the one’, and that then turns into a selfish attitude. You can’t be expressive, you can’t be creative.”
