“And if I start speaking about Xavi, I really do not know where to start. It was a privilege to play alongside him throughout the years at Barcelona and the national team. We’d be sure about each other’s position on the ground without even looking at each other.

Iniesta pointed that it was a privilege to play alongside Xavi, as the understanding between him and Xavi in Barcelona was also extended to the national side. It was so accurate that they need not look for each other on the field of play. But someday, every footballer must retire he noted.

Iniesta however stated that Spain are still capable of winning Euro for the third consecutive time, as they currently have a squad that can achieve the feat.
