The death of world Boxing legend Mohammed Ali has continued to get reactions from Sports men around the world, as three-time world cup winner and Brazilian legend Pele has expressed shock on the demise.
Pele reacted by saying “The sporting universe has just suffered a big loss. Mohammed Ali was my friend, my idol, my hero. We spent many moments together and always kept a good connection throughout the years. The sadness is overwhelming. I wish him peace with God. And I send love and strength to his family.”
Inhis reaction to the death of the legend, Tiger Woods tweeted on his page,“You’ll always be The Greatest for more than just what you did in the ring. A champion to so many people in so many ways.”
Others who paid tribute to the legend are German midfielder Mesut Ozil who expressed shock via tweeter on the death of the legend by writing “Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion.” Thx for the inspiration, you greatest of all the time. R.I.P.
While Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor tweeted “SEA, RIP to the greatest. Definition of legend and empowerment”
Mohammed Ali died on June 3, 2016 at the age of 74 in Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America.
