Austin Eguavoen, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba Honour Stephen Keshi At Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium

The body of the late former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi was taken to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium today after the funeral Mass which took place at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Benin City, where members of the golden generation of 1994 squad played a novelty match in honour of the late Eagles coach.

Austin Eguavoen, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba were among those present for the novelty match between ex-internationals and All-Stars.

The match was organized by the Nigeria Football Federation, the Edo State Football Association and the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, also present was Mutiu Adepoju and Uche Okechukwu. The match which was played in honour of the late Keshi at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw.
