‘He’s bringing fresh thoughts and his own style. Everything is different and everyone is adapting to what he’s teaching us.’We need to understand what he’s telling us and what he wants to bring to the team.’

Manchester City struggled to finish fourth position under Manuel Pellegrini in his last season, but the Chilean took city to her first ever semifinal stage at the uefa champions league as well as winning the capital one cup, thereby giving an opportunity for Pep to improve on and set new standard for the oil-rich club.

Iheanacho who made a total of 35 appearances for Manchester City last season, scored 14 goals, after making his debut as a late substitute against Watford in August.
