Photos: Stephen Keshi’s Funeral Service In Benin

The body of the former Super Eagles coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi begins his journey today, with a Farewell Mass held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Benin City, after which his body was moved to the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium where a novelty football match would hold in honour of the former footballer.

Stephen Keshi died of cardiac arrest in Benin City on June 8, 2016 while being rushed to the hospital. Until his death, he remains the only Nigerian to have won the Afcon title both as a player and as a coach.
