Nigeria’s D’Tigers beat the Argentina’s national basketball team by 96-92 in an exhibition game in the United States, as part of preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
The victory of D’Tigers over the Argentine side, remains significant to the Nigeria’s Super Eagles team who have practically found it difficult to dominate the South Americans in national male football and at the U-20 level. A worthy lesson it is for any follower of Nigeria sports.
Thomas and Mack centre in Las Vegas was the venue where the D’Tigers got their pound of flesh from the Argentine side, after they had earlier beaten Nigeria by 71-49 at the Stankovic Cup early this month.
D’Tigers is expected take on USA on August 1, at the Toyota Centre.
