Barcelona are yet to come out of their premier league home loss, as they extend their anger on poor Celtic who traveled all the the way from Scotland to play the first leg of the Champions league match, mauling their visitors 7-0.

Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick, Luis Suarez a brace, while Neymar and Iniesta scored one goal each to go on top of the table of Group C with a wide goal margin.

Celtic had an opportunity to level up after Barcelona’s first goal, which put the Catalans on a goal lead, but Moussa Dembele lost it before Lionel Messi went ahead to score the second goal of the match.

The goals coming from Messi , Neymar and Suarez are rising in geometrical progression since their combination came into existence two seasons ago. The trio have scored a combined 253 goals and have made 120 more assists, with hope of improving on the figures.

Barcelona is certainly not a team Celtic can cope with, particularly with the combination and going by the fact that they had lost a league match recently to newly promoted Alaves.
