Celtic got their first point in the uefa champions league at home, after playing a 3-3 draw with visiting Manchester city, to end their visitors winning streak in all competitions since the arrival of Pep Guardiola during the summer.
The draw is Manchester City’s first underperformance, though Pep feels it is a good result.
It was city who possessed the ball more than the host, but Celtic took the lead on three occasions leaving Pep Guardiolas men with the option of coming back which they eventually did to share points with a Scottish side that had conceded seven goals in their first encounter against Barcelona.
The home crowd unleashed an electrifying kind of noise, that gave the Scottish side the confidence needed and their joys manifested in all situation when they took the lead.
Barcelona’s win over Monchengladbach in Germany keeps city in the second position on the table, with the Spanish side being on top with six points, while Celtic who drew their visitors remain on third position and enjoy one point advantage over Monchengladbach.
