Paul Pogba has finally broken his goal drought at Old Trafford, as Manchester United beat premier league defending champions Leicester City 4-1 at Old Trafford Stadium.

The 23-year-old former Juventus player, arrived Old Trafford during the summer transfer on a world-record transfer fee of $89m, has gone six matches in all competitions without scoring a goal, the drought has left critics to conclude that the French international has not justified his value.

Pogba broke the goal jinx in the 42nd minutes, scoring United’s fourth goal after Smalling, Mata and Rashford had put United three goals ahead in the 22′, 37′ and 40′ minutes respectively, giving United a win before half time.

Aside breaking the goal-drought, Pogba also emerged as Man of The Match.

Gray scored a goal for the visiting side in the 59′ minutes, though the goal seemed to give Ranieri’s men an opportunity to level up, but it ended up becoming a consolation goal for the defending champions.
