Arsenal displayed the typical Tiki-Taka style of football at the Emirates Stadium, to devastate Chelsea by 3-0, scoring all goals in the first half without conceding any. The win is Arsenal’s four consecutive win in the premier league.
Sanchez opened scoring for Arsenal through a counter-attack that was facilitated by Ozil, leading to the Chilean lifting the ball above Courtois, who was helpless in the eleventh minutes. Three minutes later Theo Walcott scored Arsenal’s second goal, before Ozil sealed up victory for Wenger’s men in the first half of play.
Arsenal’s connecting and long range passes in the attack, could be likened to that of Barcelona, as Ozil, Sanchez and Iwobi caused trouble for the Chelsea defence.
Arsenal were more coordinated and disciplined in their defence, as they clipped the wings of the Chelsea attackers, making Diego Costa become frustrated and earning a caution card in the process.
It was indeed another sad day for Conte and his men, as they suffered a second consecutive defeat after six matches premier league matches, while Arsenal move up to third position on the table.
