Memories of last season’s loss to Swansea runs through the mind’s of fans of Arsenal and manager Arsene Wenger, as Gunners prepare to host Swansea City at the Emirate Stadium.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that last season’s home defeat by Swansea was a major reason Gunners lost the title race and this seem to make the French man begin to have goose pimples as they clash today.
Fans lashed out at Wenger after his side lost to the Swans, and there were also calls made to sack the 66-year-old French man.
However, it is a different scenario here today, as Arsenal face Swansea City on the strength of five successive wins in all competitions, giving them confidence irrespective of the sad memories which was experienced last season.
Arsenal are currently third on the table, and are two points behind league leaders Manchester City, they need to win to keep hopes alive of remaining on top, but that would also depend on the result of Manchester City and Tottenham’s matches which comes up today.
