Brazil beat Peru today to move 27 points and remain on top of the CONMEBOL table ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The host compelled the group leaders to a first half goalless draw, before Gabriel Jesus broke the goal drought in the 58 minutes to put the Samba boys in the lead thereby making Brazil go four points clear off runners up Uruguay, who lost earlier today to Chile.
