Yaya Toure returned to Manchester City squad in a big way yesterday, scoring twice to give Pep Guardiola’s men the desired victory against host Crystal Palace.
Toure who was banned from playing in the club by Pep Guardiola due to the statement made by his agent decided to apologise himself rather than wait for his agent to do so early this November, and this made Pep lift the ban placed on the Ivorian.
His return was not much publicized so very few knew the Ivorian would play for his club, but seeing his name on the team list was a shock to most of the fans.
At the blast of the final whistle his team mates gathered round him to show their appreciation for his role in the victory which now helps City to level on points with Liverpool on the Premier league table.
Both Guardiola and Toure marked his return in grand style following the victory with the 33-year-old Ivorian brace.
