Jamie Vardy pulled a hat-trick against visiting Manchester City to end his 10-match goal drought in the premier league this season.
Vardy who failed to find the back of the net in his last ten games opened scoring in the first 3 minutes of play, before Kings scored the second in the 5th minute and Vardy scored a third in 20th minutes of play, putting the host on the driver’s seat before half-time.
Vardy completed his hat-trick after skipping past City goal keeper Claudio Bravo, by intercepting a misplaced John Stones pass and finishing from a narrow angle scoring his side’s last and fourth goal of the match before City got their two goals.
The hat-trick is his first for Leicester City and Ranieri who was very pleased with the performance simply said during interview that “Welcome back Jamie”.
