It was a historical moment for Swansea City and a bitter loss to Liverpool at Anfield, as visiting Swansea handed a significant and painful 3-2 home defeat to end Jurgen Klopp’s home unbeaten record.

The defeat also encourages Liverpool to concentrate on pursuing their UEFA Champions league qualification ambition rather than continue in their pursue of league leaders Chelsea.

Liverpool came from two goals down with special thanks to Roberto Firmino, but his effort was frustrated by Gylfi Sigurdsson who restored the visitor’s away lead advantage in the 74th minutes putting Klopp’s men in a tight situation where they hoped for a draw.
