Manchester United extended their winning to six consecutive premier league games and seven in all, after getting a 2-0 victory against 10-man West ham who played host to the Red Devils.
Referee Mike Dean issued a controversial straight red card to Feghouli 15 minutes into the game for an offence that was only self explanatory .
Subsequent replay clearly showed that Feghouli did not in anyway infringe on the laws of the game, leaving only Dean to give an explanation why he gave such marching orders to Feghouli.
Manchester United could not take advantage of the red card and get a goal in the first half , but had to wait till the second half when Mourinho’s second half substitutes Marcus Rashford and Joan Mata did the magic in the 63rd minutes breaking the deadlock and putting United one goal ahead.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic doubled the lead in the 78 minutes through a controversial goal that was practically scored from an offside position, and it was even more surprising that officials overlooked the offside position even when it was glaring that three of United’s players were in offside position which also includes Zlatan.
The win is Mourinho’s longest win since 2014 when he had such record while in charge of Chelsea.
