Suarez, Neymar,Messi Scores To End Athletico Bilbao’s Copa del Rey Dream

Barcelona have qualified to the quarterfinal stage of the Copa del Rey tournament, after beating their host Athletico Bilbao 3-1 to progress on 4-3 aggregate.

Bilbao came to Camp Nou with a first-leg win advantage but Suarez scored in the 35th minutes to give Barca an edge over their guests, this advantage was sustained before half-time.

Barcelona Wins First Laliga Title In Xavi’s First Full Season

After the break Neymar doubled Barcelona’s goal through a penalty kick in the second half to put Barca in comfortable lead, but their joy broke so soon when Enric Saborid’s header in the 51st minutes gave Bilbao the much awaited goal that leveled them up with their host.

The match continued on 3-3 aggregate and looks as if it was extra time bound, but Lionel Messi was quick to end Bilbao’s hope after his free kick which he sent into the far post end gave Barca their third and final goal of the match, sending Luis Enrique’s men to the quarterfinal of the tournament.
