Tiger Woods’ first event for the year 2017 will be the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, which is expected to start on Thursday the 26th day of January 2017.
The 40-year-old 14-time major winner is also expected to compete in the European Tour’s Dubai Desert Classic which is expected to start on February 2, before playing the PGA Tou’s Genesis Open staring on February 16, followed by the Honda Classic.
Also expected to compete with Woods are World number two Rory McIlroy and Master champion Danny Willett.
Although Woods took part in the Farmers game in 2015, but had to withdraw due to injury during the first round of the game.
Woods told BBC SPORT that”I’ve always enjoyed playing in Dubai and it’s fantastic to see how the city has grown from when I first started playing there,” said Woods, who won the event in 2006 and 2008.
