Manchester City emerged victorious yesterday in their away premier league encounter after defeating their host by two goals to nothing, to move to the third position on the premier league table.
Sergio Aguero opened scoring for Pep Guardiola’s side in the 42nd minutes, giving City the confidence and lead before half time.
Pep Guardiola’s men made several efforts in the second half to increase their lead, but it was Sane’s strike in the 59th minutes that secured the final goal of the match, giving City the confidence against the host in case their is a late goal from their host.
The defeat puts Sunderland at the bottom of the table with 19 points, whiednesday will have an opportunity to move to the second position if they get a win.
