Super Eagles national team coach Gernot Rohr seems uncomfortable ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly with the Terenga Lions of Senegal, as the German tactician wants his impressive record with the Super Eagles not to be halted by the Senegal side.
The friendly is expected to hold today March 23at The Hive Stadium in London, which is the home field for England League Two side Barnet FC.
Rohr will use the friendly match to continue the building process ahead of Nigeria’s tight Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifier later this year.
The last time the Super Eagles clashed with the Terenga Lions of Senegal was in preliminary round of the 2006 African Cup of Nations, with the Super Eagles thrashing them 2-1 courtesy of Obafemi Martins two goals.
Rohr who knows that Nigerian are ardent football fans is being cautious of losing this match particularly as he has impressed the fans since arrival.
