Everton and former Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has rejected an offer presented to him by the Dutch football association (KNVB) to take charge of the national team in the World Cup qualifier.
The offer came after Blind was sacked following Netherland’s 2-0 loss to Bulgaria in world cup qualifier match jeopardizing the chances of their qualification to the Russia 2018 world cup.
Koeman told the Dutch media that he is not available, leading to the nation’s continuous search for a new manager.
Super Sport reported that Dutch technical director Jean Paul Decossaux said on Sunday that, “We hope to have a new coach in place quickly but it won’t be ready in one week,”..
