Manchester City thrashed Middlesbrough 0-2 in the first-leg of the quarterfinal stage of the FA Cup to get an edge ahead of their second-leg clash at the Etihad stadium.

Guardiola’s men opened scoring in the first 3 minutes through David Silva, putting them in the drivers seat before their host’s home crowd, giving the visitor’s the lead before half time.
