Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has declared that he wants to extend his contract in Chelsea to enable him stay longer with Chelsea for many years.

The Italian who disclosed this in his press conference today ahead of the FA Cup final with Arsenal tomorrow has already won the premier league with Chelsea in his first season, and is at the verge of winning a double if he succeeds in beating Arsenal at Wembley tomorrow.

Conte admitted: “If the club {Chelsea} give me the possibility to stay here and to extend my contract, for sure I am available to do this,” . “But we have the same idea about the future. The way we have to do things together, to improve the squad and the team. But, I repeat, I’m happy for this season and am happy to stay here. I hope to stay here for many years.”

Conte who admired Sir Alex Ferguson’s long-term stay with Manchester United also noted that staying with a club for a lengthy time is important, but he however noted that modern football is dangerous as the coaching job depends so much on a lot of result.
