Walking Competition: St. Dominic Sports Ministry Announces New Date

The Sports Ministry of St. Dominic Catholic Church Yaba, have announced a new date for the "Walking Competition"  formerly scheduled to hold on Saturday June 3rd, 2017. The  event which is the 3rd edition of the Rev Bro. Stephen Lucas Walking Competition, has now been rescheduled to hold on Saturday June 10, 2017. Take-off point remains St. Dominic Catholic Church by 8am, before all athletes walk to the Senate Building of the University of Lagos, Akoka. The new dates was made public in an official message from the Sports Ministry, which was communicated during pulpit announcement on Sunday May 28, 2019 in all the Masses that were held in the Parish. The Sports Ministry is committed towards ensuring the physical fitness of her parishioners, and have enjoined all to come out in large number and take advantage of the exercise.
