Portugal and Chile will go head-to-head tonight in the first semifinal clash of the Russia 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup which is expected to take place at Kazan Arena, in a match that would have the European champions slug it out with South American Champions.

Interestingly, the match will also afford Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo an opportunity to confirm again, that his CR7 logo remains a brand that he was worked for over the years and would not want to toil with at this point.

Chile would be featuring Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, who have also tried to make stardom with the jersey no 7 in current club Arsenal as well as national side, but Ronaldo’s long streak with the jersey no 7 both in Madrid and national team have come a long way, and the Portuguese may not want to let go.

Although Sanchez was unveiled at Arsenal in 2014 with jersey No 17, this was probably due to the fact that the No 7 jersey was occupied by Tomas Rosicky. But he held on to Jersey No 17 till the 2016/2017 season when eventually Rosicky departed, he got his heart desired jersey No back.

Sanchez will probabaly want to prove a point tonight, though the gap between the Chilean and Cristiano Ronaldo is very wide, going by the fact that the Portuguese has accomplished more feats in football than the Chilean.

Its going to be a tough match tonight, lets keep our fingers crossed and see which team will reach the the final tonight.
