Diego Maradona Returns To Napoli, Challenge Rumour Mongers To Meet Him Face-To-Face

Argentine football legend Diego Maradona returned to former club Napoli on Tuesday, where he was given a honourary citizenship at the club where he sojourned for seven years during his hey days as a footballers.

The 56-year-old who spoke during a Press Conference in the City, noted that he was long a citizen on the day he first wore the jersey No 10 for Napoli while playing for the club.

The Argentine football legend also told fans to shun comparing himself with Lionel Messi as both are different human beings, he told all to leave Lionel Messi alone, as he has his life and his family to cater for.

Maradona who arrived Napoli in 1984, led the club to their only two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990, along with the 1987 Coppa Italia and the 1989 UEFA Cup.
