Efe Ambrose At Risk of Being Sanctioned In Club

Super Eagles and Hibernian left-back Efe Ambrose is set to face disciplinary action on his return to Easter Road according to report from Sky Sport News.

Sky Sport News reported that “Hibernian boss Neil Lennon has admitted Nigeria international Efe Ambrose has not returned and may face disciplinary action.

The 28-year-old Nigerian defender has missed all of Hibs’ pre-season matches, including the 2-0 win over Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park and Lennon admitted he was unsure where he was.

Sky Sport also reported that Lennon told the Edinburgh Evening News: “There’s no sign of Efe – so he is in a bit of trouble. I can’t get a hold of him at all.

“Efe was given a wee bit of time off, but I think he is pushing the boundaries at the minute. The sooner he is back, for his sake, the better. I expected him back a lot sooner than this and it will be getting discussed behind closed doors.”
