Brazilian and Barcelona striker Neymar Da Silva has recently gotten an offer from Paris Saint-German in which they triggered his £195m release clause, but Barca president Josep Maria  Bartmeu recently told BBC Sport.

Though the Brazil forward signed a new five-year contract until 2021 in October, with his release clause set to rise with each year of the deal but situations may necessitate for him to move to the French side.

The situation here is that if Neymar does not move in this transfer window, it may likely come up in the next transfer window to enable him become a major contender in the Fifa World Player of the year.

Winning the Fifa World player of the year is like a tradition in Brazil, a culture which they maintained between 1994 and 2007 when a total of five Brazilians really won the award during the period.

The standard set within the period of Brazilian players dominating the Fifa World Player became a tradition that must be nurtured by Neymar, and his move to Barcelona in 2013 was to enable him have a soft-landing in European football. But things seems to have gone out of hands since Messi extended his contract, and this may eventually keep Neymar as second-best behind the Argentine.

But the reality is that for you to emerge as Fifa World Player of the year, you must be the most outstanding player of your team and Messi seem not to be giving Neymar that opportunity, hence making it possible for Neymar to consider a move out of Catalan soon.

If Neymar does not leave Barcelona to realize his dream of winning the Fifa Player of the Year, then he must be willing to outshine Lionel Messi in Barcelona to enable him emerge as most outstanding in Barcelona.
