Mendy is expected to arrive from Monaco, who are continuing to fend off interest in Kylian Mbappe.

Manchester United Jostle With Arsenal
With Arsenal fearful over the prospect of losing Alexis Sanchez to Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester City, Arsene Wenger has begun looking out for replacements.
The Frenchman has reportedly got his eye on Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio, who is keen for more first team football.
The Express report that Arsenal are desperate to sign the Spain Under-21 star, no matter the cost.
The report also suggests, however, that the Gunners could face competition from Manchester United.
