Aruna Blasts Nigerian Government: Support Table Tennis And Other Sport!!!

GOLD COAST: Nigeria’s Quadri Aruna has lashed at the government of Nigeria at all levels, charging them to support the development of table tennis and other Sport in the country, and not just football alone.

He said this to newsmen after receiving the silver medal of the men’s single final at the Oxenford Studios Stadium following his 4-2 loss to Singapore’s Gao Ning in the final of the game on Sunday April 15, 2018.

Aruna who spoke on the development of the game said: “plan always go with success and when you fail to plan success will not come, and I think it is time the government of Nigeria give adequate attention to table tennis  and other Sports for us to be more successful, and not just concentrating on one sport like football”

When asked to comment on his performance in the final, he said: “It was a great match, two players cannot win the gold at the same, though I am a little bit disappointed, but Silver is still better than Bronze.

Though I was down by two, but I was able to rise back and level up before my opponent got the two games that gave him the win and that is that sport for you.
