The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Libya today in their dream of reaching the African Cup of Nations tournament billed to take place in Cameroon next year.
Eagles who have missed out in two consecutive AFCON tournament in 2015 and 2017 respectively will be hoping to break the jinx and make it to the next tournament when it comes up in 2019.
Super Eagles will be looking up to an outright win to keep their hopes alive after missing three points in their opener against South Africa where Bafana Bafana beat them 2-0.
As Eagles enter the match, they have won only two of their last six matches – losing four – while the Libyans have won only one of their last six matches and drawn three with two loss recorded.
The Eagles who secured an away victory against Seychelles in their last qualifier will be looking forward to building on their victory and secure an outright win.
