United are set to host Paris Saint-German in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night at the Old Trafford Stadium with interim manager having an opportunity to play his first European match.

Interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskiaer, has gone unbeaten since arrival at Old Trafford in 11 matches, recording 10 wins and 1 draw but will be looking forward to face the real test that will determine his confirmation as permanent manager.

United management have charged the Norwegian to secure a quarterfinal slot in Europe as the condition for being named permanent manager and the first-leg could determine how far he could take the team.

Interestingly, Paris Saint-German will be coming to Old Trafford with their star player Neymar, after the Brazilian was ruled out.

A recent news reported by the BBC Sport is also confirming that PSG will also play without Edinson Cavani in the first-leg clash after the 31-year-old has been ruled out due to hip injury.

The absence of two key players in the Paris Saint-German squad ahead of the clash could motivate United to a home victory, but PSG will be looking up to shocking United.

The duo of Neymar and Cavani alone have scored 41 goals for PSG since the 2018/2019 season in all competitions and their absence will be a source of worry to manager Thomas Tuchel

Ole will be under pressure to guide his side to a victory, and will probably be looking up to an away victory to enable him seal his position as the new United boss.
