Football is indeed a game that is interested in your current performance irrespective of the outcome of your performances in the past.
The same trend seem to be hunting Africa’s current footballer of the year Mo Salah, who has failed to salvage the situation for his premier league club Liverpool.
Salah who delivered 44 goals for his side last season missed two clear chances in Liverpool’s goalless draw against Everton on Sunday’s derby, and its obvious fans are becoming uncomfortable with that.
Salah has under performed for his side in the Reds last seven appearances in the premier league, scoring just one goal in the appearances.
matt stewart @stewbucs twitted “Salah was so poor and Klopp got his substitutions so wrong. Disappointing again from the Reds. Too many draws will cost them the title and that’s not right and unfair but also seems so fitting for them”. #LFC
Ahmet Gocer @AhmetGocer2 also twitted “2 points dropped because of Salah’s poor touches and lack of finishing ability. Just when we need somebody to step up and be the main man in the team, Salah goes missing again. #lfc 7:21 PM – Mar 3, 2019Twitter Ads info and privacy See Ahmet Gocer’s other Tweets
karan budhrani @karanbuds Salah either needs to get his head together or be dropped.. this is painful but the title race isn’t over and maybe chasing will be good for us at this point cuz the pressure of being on top hasn’t gone down well with us #YoullNeverWalkAlone #LFC 7:32 PM – Mar 3, 2019Twitter Ads info and privacy See karan budhrani’s other Tweets
Alhassan Abdulai @abdulaitooka Salah is important to the team but he can be frustrating at times with his link up to his team mates & finishing. You don’t necessarily have to be a goal scorer always, a play maker is as important as the goal scorer. #LFC 7:29 PM – Mar 3, 2019 · Kumbungu, GhanaTwitter Ads info and privacy See Alhassan Abdulai’s other Tweets
