The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) Rev. Samuel Ikpea yesterday bagged an international Sports Award which was presented to him by the Nigeria Rope Skipping Federation.
The award was presented to him at his office in Lagos, by a delegate from the Nigeria Rope Skipping Federation led by the Secretary-General Mr. Olusesan Olukoya.
Olusesan described the NFSC Boss as someone who deservedly got the meritorious award based on his long-term positive contributions towards the development of Sports in Nigeria.
While responding, Ikpea expressed his gratitude to God for the award and also for giving him the wherewithal to contribute his own quota to the development of sports in the country sports247.ng reported.


Rev. Samuel Ikpea, thanked the board of NRSF for the honour bestowed on him. Adding that it is indeed, encouraging to know that his modest contributions to the development of the country through sports have not gone unnoticed.
” I am glad to receive this award. And I thank God for making it possible. I also say thank you to the organizers for this recognition,” .
” This award would only spur me to doing more for Nigeria sports. As the saying goes, the reward for hardwork, is more work,” he concluded.
It will be recalled that Rev. Samuel Ikpea recently facilitated the club’s support towards the first ever Youth Sports Media (Sports Essay Competition).
