Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has become the third manager in the premier league to win the title back-to-back.
The Spaniard joins Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho to accomplish the feat. He guided his side to win the title after their 4-1 away victory against Brighton on last day.
Guardiola whose side finished top with 98 points described the title as “My toughest title to win” according to BBC Sport report.
The Spaniard also thanked Liverpool for their close rivalry with his side. Insisting that Liverpool’s push helped his side to win the title this season.
Pep Guardiola has already guided his side win the League Cup early this year. And will be looking forward to win the FA Cup on May 18, when they play Watford in the final.
If Pep Guardiola wins the FA Cup, he will become the first manager to win the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup in a single season.
