White Bird TAEKWONDO Academy Set To Host WTA U-15 Championship In Lagos

White Bird Taekwondo Academy is set to hold the second edition of her WTA U-15 Championship which is expected to hold at the National Stadium in Surulere Lagos.

The One-day event will hold on Saturday June 29th, 2019 at the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation Hall close to the main entrance of the National Stadium.

Executive Director of White Bird Taekwondo Academy Ms Anita Aluya disclosed this to www.simag.com.ng in Lagos recently.

“We have taken adequate care of all logistics for the event and I can authoritatively say that the event will hold at the Nigeria Table Tennis Hall close to the entrance gate of the national stadium” Anita started.

“It was a little bit tough putting things in place after our first edition but now arrangements are on ground”. “We are focused on ensuring that the children are given the best on that day” she added.

“We are making our own contribution towards the development of Taekwondo in Nigeria, believing that the sports will get its rightful medal position for Nigeria at the international scene soon”, she concluded.

The WTA U-15 championship will give secondary school students opportunity to get further exposure in the game of Taekwondo. While they aspire to become champions for Nigeria in the future.

The students will be under the watch of 15 referees and 5 volunteers who will ensure smooth running of the event.

It is expected that over 200 students from secondary schools within and around the environs of Lagos are expected to take part in the One-day event.
