NFF boss Mr Amaju Pinnick who also doubles as CAF’s 1st Vice President has been removed in his position as CAF 1st Vice President.
Sports Intelligence (www.simag.com.ng) authoritatively confirmed from Gouda Abouelnor of Ahram Newspaper in Cairo, that Pinnick was voted out from the position during CAF congress which took place today in Cairo.
Before now, there has been heavy financial investigations against the NFF boss and other top officials of the Nigeria Federation.

The most recent blow that hit Pinnick recently was a reply from CAF General Secretary Mouad Hajji to the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for The Recovery of Public Property in Nigeria.
In the reply, Mouad Hajji stated that Pinnick did not spend the sum $565,473 which he claimed was used to attend CAF Congress in 2015. And CAF was responsible for taking care of members who attended the congress.
However, as at press time it is not certain yet if the voting out of Amaju Pinnick was influenced by the brewing charges.

But there are also speculations that there is rift between Pinnick and his Boss Ahmad, and this could also be a factor leading to it.
Amaju Pinnick was seen yesterday night performing what seems like his last official assignment as CAF”S 1st Vice President in Cairo Egypt. He assisted in the presentation of the Bronze medal to the Super Eagles after the third place match in which the team beat Tunisia 1-0 to win her 8th AFCON Bronze.
The Egypt 2019 AFCON is Amaju Pinnick first and only participation as NFF boss, after the team failed to qualify twice in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
