Orbih Salutes Lagos State Government

President of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) Mr Francis Orbih, has commended the Lagos State Government for their support towards the success of the just concluded Chmapionship.

Orbih who spoke with newsmen after the event said “It wouldnt have been successful if the State Government had not thrown their weight behind us”

He specifically thanked his excellency the executive Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made himself readily available to support the event.

Orbih said “His excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu took over in May 29, and he saw our file on his table upon assuming office”. “Without wasting much time, he approved our request and gave all the necessary support needed to make the event a huge success”.

“We appreciate his support and we also appreciate the support of previous administrations, who have ensured that Badminton does not go into oblivion” he said.
