Super Eagles forwards Victor Oshimen and Samuel Chukwueze will both slug it out when the CAF African Youth Player of the Award which comes up in January 2020.
The duo made the final top three in CAF’s final list alongside Morocco and Borussia Dortmund player Achraf Hakimi.
Victor Oshimen and Samuel Chukwueze contributed their best towards helping Super Eagles win the bronze medal in the Egypt 2019 Africa Cup of nations, before their nomination.
The 20-year-old Samuel Chukwueze plays his professional football in Villarreal, while Victor Oshimen who is also 20-year-old plays in French side Lille.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr had once described the duo as the future of the Super Eagles. Their nomination for this award is a proof that these two players will become strong forces to reckon with in the future.
