Watford’s hope of getting out of the relegation zone got some high hope following their 2-0 victory over Manchester United during the weekend.
Two goals within a space of five minutes in the 50′ and 54′ minutes ensured Pearson’s side got a massive victory over former premier league champions.
Since the appointment of Nigel Pearson as Watford manager on 7 December, the Hornets have gotten four points from three fixtures. Their only defeat within this period came from runaway leaders Liverpool.
For a team at the bottom of the table, their 2-0 victory against United is inspirational and a big boost towards giving them hopes that they could survive relegation before end of season.
Watford are still at the bottom with 12 points, they will need at least three victories to get out of the relegation zone, provided that a few teams drop on points while they climb up.
